What do I need to consider when buying prescription sunglasses?

When buying prescription sunglasses, the following key criteria must be taken into account to ensure both optimum functionality and protection:

• UV protection

• Tint level

• CE test mark
  Check the quality by looking for the CE mark on the inside of the temples, which confirms compliance with European standards. Sunglasses with the CE mark offer sufficient UV protection, which means they meet the minimum requirements. • Size and fit
  Make sure that the sunglasses fit perfectly, are as close to the eye as possible and provide sufficient coverage. The eyes should be fully protected, at least up to the eyebrows and to the side of the face.
